Both another 13 cologne and Baccarat Rouge 540 by MFK are scents ,that you have to try on yourself. They don’t have very clear dominant notes ,or a distinctive personality, but they produce different effects on different users due to the chemical reactions ,that occur when the fragrance interacts with the skin, as well as personal style. Both scents have many supporters, but there are also plenty of people who dislike them. On my skin, the Iso E Super in Another 13 brings out a dry, woody scent that is quite noticeable, and there is also a hint of the salty sea water scent of ambergris. The fragrance was hardly detectable on me ,after the middle notes, and I had to wear it again the next day to get a better sense of it. Besides the consistent woody notes, there’s a slight floral scent in the top notes, and a fruity sweetness in the base notes, but they are all very subtle. The fragrance has a low to moderate silage ,and is only occasionally noticeable as I move around, with a slight trace of woody and floral fragrance.
